• And so, in the series of lessons on Serta, we teach you the Serta script as a development from the Ashuri and Estrangela letters which you have already looked at. It is really, really important that you go through all these lessons on the Aramaic Alphabet(s) in turn, steadily, progressing from one lesson to the next.
• First thoroughly understand the Ashuri letters. Watch the videos, practise writing the letters, print out the Practice Sheets, and print out the Flashcards. Get to know the Ashuri letters inside out. Feel that you have mastered them. Only then progress to the Estrangela script. And only then progress to the Serta script. If you take this approach, you will find the Serta script easy. You will understand all the Aramaic scripts better. You will have access to a much wider range of books, grammars, lexicons and dictionaries than ever before. And you will be able to read all three scripts. You will be killing two birds with the one stone.
