• But, importantly, all four scripts - Ashuri, Estrangela, Serta and Swadaya - are all still used today. We find that once the inspired Word of God was written in one of those scripts, a group of Bible believers clung to it tenaciously, reluctant to change the Divine Word in any way. This testifies to how strongly Bible believers down through the centuries have believed God’s Word, and have honoured God by preserving His Word, faithfully preserving the Peshitta New Testament, and the Peshitta Old Testament, for centuries in these scripts of the Aramaic Alphabet.
