- These developments in Estrangela continued as Serta script started to become used. Compared with Estrangela, Serta script is generally the same, but differs in the same sort of ways that Ashuri differs from Estrangela. In other words:
- Serta is even easier to write cursive, and letters are more systematically joined to the before and after letters in established ways.
- In Serta, the letters are generally thinner, more like a single stroke with a pen on paper.
- In Serta, the letters differ in size and shape, much more than they do with Ashuri and Estrangela.
