- Vespasian (A.D. 69-79) who destroyed the Temple in A.D. 70 when he conquered Jerusalem,
- Titus (A.D. 70-81), the son of Vespasian,
- the insane and psychopathic Domitian (A.D. 81-96) who again mercilessly persecuted Jews and Christians,
- Nerva (A.D. 96-98),
- Trajan (A.D. 98-117), until finally, the reign of
- Hadrian, from A.D. 117-138.
