- These events are well known, and they are recorded in the New Testament. They are described, for instance, in Paul’s missionary journeys in the book of the Acts of the Apostles. Paul’s letters - Romans, Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Thessalonians) were written to the early congregations of believers in Rome, Corinth, Galatia, Ephesus, Philippi, Colossae and Thessalonica, as Paul embarked upon his first, second and third missionary journeys. The Book of Revelation contains letters, or epistles, to seven of the early churches, or congregations, across Asia Minor.
- In summary, Christianity spread across Turkey (or Asia Minor at the time) into the various countries of Europe. The Roman Empire ultimately converted to Christianity. Christianity spread into Britain and Ireland and many other countries on its way across Europe. From there, much later, Christianity spread to America. This is all well-researched and well-documented history.
