- We can read more about the Jews being taken into exile in Babylon in, for example, Jeremiah chapter 52:
- Jer. 52:28 This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty: 29 In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons: 30 In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.
- Further deportations into Babylon also took place, and they are described in detail in other parts of the Holy Scriptures. Over time, large numbers of Jews were taken into captivity to Babylon.
